Many of our readers and friends have asked us... what the hell are you folks in Hong Kong, doing with a Superbowl related site?
The answer is fairly simple, if you know us.
It all began in early 2006, when some of the forum members on GeoExpat.Com, started complaining that the local feed shown in Hong Kong would not have the commercials. A couple of them had IPods, so we setup an iTunes feed and told them to subscribe to it.
As luck would have it, it was one of those few things we've ever done, that went viral. By the time the Superbowl aired, we had over 100,000 subscriptions to the feed and it was one of the top 10 podcasts on iTunes. |
