2007 Budweiser Superbowl Ads

Budweiser, given the profile of the audience, is usually one of the biggest advertisers during the Superbowl.

This year they had a number of spots. View them here and let us know which ones you enjoyed the best.

But He Has Bud Light

Would you pick up a stranger on a dark highway? What if he had an axe with him? Now what if he had an axe and a case of Bud Light?

JayZ vs Don Shula

Budwieser Select commercial featuring Don Shula and JayZ ... playing a virtual reality football game. File this one into the cute, but pointless file.

King Crabs

You know the good old story... crabs steal beer cooler, crabs see a shadow and crabs get a new god. Heard this epic story hundreds of times... now watched it as a commercial for Bud.

Fist Bumps

Fist bumps.. are they in or out? Watch this commercial to figure out the latest (well, in 2007) secret buddy handshake we're so cool ritual.

Rock Paper Scissors

One bud ... and two guys. Who gets the last one? Obviously the guy who wins at rock, paper scissors. Funny and probably one of the top 10 we enjoyed.

The Language Class

Mencia teaches folks from around the world to order Bud in exotic locales like New York and LA. Overall ok .. nothing that special, but we figure they needed something for the Hispanic audience.

The Reception

The focus of every wedding should be the food, the drinks and the party! Forget the bride and groom.... We wish a lot of the wedding we've been to were as hmm... efficient as this one.

The Dalmation

Dopey ad about a dog whose life improves after he gets splashed with some mud. Perhaps its a branding ad, but do such syrupy commercials work during the Superbowl?

Great Ape Plan

Three years in the making - the dumbest plan ever featuring two apes. Got to be a worst ad in the Bud commercial inventory for 2007. Wonder how much they paid their agency for it.
